Cowboys

had its premiere in january 2026 and is a production of Sarah Gaderer and Emmy Steiner. The performance piece is for children (age 7 to 10) and adults and picks up the cowboy myth questioning its integral parts. The cowboys on stage challenge each other and themselves in strange ways, negotiate boundaries, ride, fight, curse, spit and of course often fail. Is it possible to take space without narrowing other's? Can we be tied together although seeking to be alone sometimes? Of course, horse!
