SALON LIMUSIN

Salon Limusin is the name of a concert- and workshop-concept I am part of. Together with Theresia Emm (visuals), Tanja Fuchs (electronics) and Tamara Imlinger (texts, keys) we improvise live in different setups (duo, trio, quartet). In the process of live-improvisation Imlinger’s clear and accessible stories transform and get a new undertone while Emm’s projected paintings develop and transform. Coupled with a preceding workshop or writer’s laboratory the audience can get part of the performance by adding text and interacting with the collective.

Our most recent work is "Die Ohrstöpsel" - short film, live radio play, and mini-drama for one head and two hands. It's about hands try to put foam earplugs in the head's ears. It doesn't work. The piece explores the need for retreat and quietness, as well as the idea of no longer hearing anything—of the world, the sounds, and the thoughts in one's own head. Watch the teaser on the right side or above.
